Desirée and Roger had a gorgeous ceremony last Saturday in the Indian Village gardens in Detroit. All of the beautiful floral work was done by Martin Murdick from M Designs. The reception was at Lakeland Manor in St Claire Shores.

The wedding party was led in to the ceremony by a Scottish bagpiper, it was a really nice touch.

Before heading out of Detroit we headed to the place where Roger first caught Derirée’s eye, Cliff Bells.
Roger proposed at Comerica Park, so we snapped a few there too: )

Lauren is one of those people, when you are around her, you can’t help but smile. We used to work together, before she met Sean. Seeing them together makes my heart smile: ) They are obviously so much in love and soon to be the parents of a baby boy in October. So sweet. Here’s a preview of our maternity session. Alisa and Rob are the cutest! Rob is from Texas, Alisa grew up a Michigander and they’re getting married in October of this year at the Michigan Union . . . next month!! Last weekend we went to A2 to shoot their engagement photos and scope out some locations for the wedding, here’s a preview: )
I had the pleasure of documenting Ramie and Matt’s wedding last Saturday. I love everything about these two, they are both super thoughtful and fun to be around! My assistant for the day Tiesha and I had a blast! The ceremony and reception were at the Omni Hotel located on the new Detroit Riverwalk overlooking the Canadian coastline. . . so pretty!

So, being the one behind the camera everywhere I go means that I have like, no pictures of myself! I decided it was time to finally have some taken. A fellow wedding photographer friend of mine Adam Czap is so brave and actually volunteered to take the challenge, Ha-ha! I usually take pretty horrible pictures but, I think he did an awesome job of making me look cool: )! He also snapped a few family pics of Juan, Pablo and I. Kathryn and Ryan were married at St. Rene Catholic Church in Sterling Heights and had their reception at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Macomb. It was a cool August day, perfect for pictures! A million thanks to Tiesha for assisting me for the day: )
