Peri and Marcus had their main wedding in New York, but had a second party here to celebrate their marriage with all of their Michigan family. I feel so lucky that I got to document these two sweeties on Sweetest day! We had some fun shooting at the MGM Grand and then made a stop at Detroit’s old warehouse district. The reception was at The Roostertail . .  the atmosphere was fabulous. Kevin from Rent-A-DJ was fun to work with too! Thanks you two for an awesome day. .  I hope you love your photos!!

So we got rained out on E-Session 1 and 2! But not before we finished shooting this time. (mostly on the way back to our cars!) : ) I really love so many of these, we even got some really awesome timing with a train! Thanks guys for a fun shoot, you two are the cutest, I hope you love them: ) We are bound to have good weather for the wedding . . if not, I love umbrellas too!

Alisa and Rob were married and had their reception at  Michigan Union in Ann Arbor.  It was a sweet, intimate gathering with just 40 or so guests. It was obvious they put so much love into every detail. Their videographer, Jamie Honce, was super fun to work with and their florist Helen from Flowers & Such did an amazing job with the decor.

Nicole Shook from Salon Luminosity in Saline did an awesome job with Alisa’s hair and makeup. If you are still looking for a hair/makeup stylist for your wedding day, I highly recommend her. Her email is regalangel@comcast.net

Nataliya and Nate are too cute together! I’m so glad they found me, I had a blast shooting their engagements: ) They both grew up Michiganders but, Nate is in the Air Force and it took them to Florida. Nataliya has waited for Nate to come home safely from Iraq twice, now they are coming back home to Michigan to get married in May!  I could just see the love and happiness bursting out of these two. . so, so, SO sweet: )! Thank you Nate for protecting our freedom!! Congrats you two. . I hope you love them: )!

I didn’t know Ginko Biloba trees grew these. They are so pretty but don’t break one in your hand. . they don’t smell so pretty. Now I know: )

Sarah + Kyle are getting married next year! We headed to Three Cedars Farms last week to shoot their engagement photos. It’s such an awesome place with lots of beautiful surroundings. We got a few great pics before the rain came, I’m looking forward to take 2: ).
