Brittany and Mark’s wedding was last Saturday and it wouldn’t have been a more perfect day! It was looking like rain all week and thankfully the only time it rained was during the ceremony . .  I think I heard that’s supposed to good luck too! I started the day at their home for some getting ready photos and (more importantly) some shots with with their Shepard mix, Mali. The ceremony was at St. Francis Cabrini Church in Allen Park and reception was at the Holiday Inn in Southgate.

I am SO excited for this wedding!!! Crystal and I have known eachother for a long time now .. we went to highschool together: ) I was so thrilled when I heard Rob had proposed, it was a complete suprise to her and such a SWEET story!  When they asked me to shoot their wedding, I was even more happy: ) Crystal & Rob, you two are so adorable together and I am so glad you found eachother! I hope you love your engagement photos!

If you follow my blog you know that this is my first wedding of the season- Yay! Nataliya and Nate’s wedding was a great one to kick off the year with: )  I found out on the wedding day that one of their license plates actually says “nate nat” it doesn’t get much cuter than that! Nate was in the Air Force and was serving in Iraq when Nataliya booked me for their wedding, I am so happy for them that now they are together for good. You can just feel the love bursting out of them … so, so sweet: ) The wedding and reception were in the Irish Hills (Michigan) area. I can’t say enough how B-e-a-utiful!  it is over there! The ceremony was at the Historic St. Joeseph’s Shrine Catholic Church and Reception was at Sauk Valley Resort.

Just after shooting the dress, I turned around and snapped this shot of their dog with Nataliya’s grandma in the background .. definitely one of my favs: )

I would highly recommend a day trip to Hidden Lake Gardens! There were parts that looked a scene out of Twilight .. I could have shot there all day!
