Bobbie & Robert were married last saturday! you might remember these two from their royal oak engagement session last year. they both teach high school and are so, so cute together! their ridiculously amazing son, Damond, played a big part in their day and had all kinds of ideas for photos! the ceremony was at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Flint and reception was at Our Lady of Lebanon Banquet Center. New Creations did a beautiful job with the floral and Brett from Liquid Entertainment rocked!

Robert gave this heart to Bobbie when they first started dating, i thought it was sweet that she brought it!

since the bride and groom are both teachers, Robert arranged for a school bus instead of a limo.. it was a really cute touch.

i have so been looking forward to shooting this wedding! Ashley & Michael, who you may remember from their detroit e-session from earlier this year, are just the sweetest couple and so, so in L-O-V-E! when Ashley told me she was adding vintage door knobs to her bouquet, i knew her style and mine would mesh well! the ceremony and lunch reception took place at the beautiful glen oaks in farmington hills and we made a stop in downtown farmington for some more photos. Erika from eco-posh events was their wedding coordinator and florist and i must say, she did a beautiful job! Joe Poré performed his new hit single “Feel This Way”  and blew us all away with his amazing voice and talent, as Ashley was walking up the aisle and dj show from showtime dj’s provided the entertainment at the reception. the day was perfect!

last year i was ask to be the official photographer of the knot market party, recently published in the fall/winter 2010 issue.  the knot hosts one of these each year for the companies who advertise with them .. it’s always a good time mingling with other like minded wedding professionals: )  of course, i was thrilled to contribute to the event! it was held at the beautiful waldenwoods resort and conference center in Hartland. the party planner was Erika from ecoposh events. the event contributors were all eco-friendly and the knot gave back to the community by making donating to gleaners food bank. if you don’t already have a copy, here’s a peek at the feature:

after meeting Tara & Tyler last year, knew i was going to love shooting their wedding!  they are totally adorable together and Tara had such a vision for all the details …  everything was gorgeous, like i knew it would be! They had their ceremony and reception last saturday at lovett hall at the henry ford in dearborn. after the ceremony we were escorted though greenfield village in a vintage model T to shoot some more photos … so cool! emerald city designs did an amazing job with the floral. Tara’s getting ready photos were shot at the henry, autograph collection (formerly the ritz carlton) and Tyler’s were at the hyatt regency dearborn. a million thank yous to my delightful assistant Jenny. congrats Tara & Tyler!!!
